Hi, friend!

If you’re headed to Israel or merely researching the places you could go, then searching for already-tried itineraries might be on your to-do list.

Trust me, I did the same. It always feel easier to choose locations to visit when they’re already grouped together by proximity, so with that in mind, I wanted to provide this.

After we were referred a tour guide by someone who was unavailable, I emailed the locations on our priority list, and our wonderful tour guide did the rest.

Here is our Christian-based itinerary:

DAY 1

From Tel Aviv

  • Ceasaria—King Herod’s dream built on sad
  • Muchraka (Carmel Horn)—where Elijah slayed the false prophets
  • Meggido (Tel Meggido), or the field of Armageddon!
  • Church of the Annunciation, Nazareth
  • Mary’s Well, Nazareth

DAY 4

From Jerusalem

  • Dead Sea but stopped for a camel ride
  • Then continued towards Masada, a desert fort with views of the Dead Sea, passing by Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
  • For our last location, we visited freshwater pools and took a short walk towards the Ein Gedi oasis. Located here are the caves where David hid from King Saul. This is an extraordinary experience.
