Places that deliver have changed the foodie game.

If I’m honest, the hardest thing about quarantine is not having access to all my favorite foods.

My favorite things seem to come from all over the world. That being said, finding local places to deliver authentic-foods-that-hit-the-spot for my cravings is extremely difficult.

Fortunately, many famous restaurants deliver their products. While having places deliver isn’t practical for the everyday, it is PERFECT for special occasions. birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or graduation…

Whether you’re looking for treats for all those special occasions in quarantine, or you’re looking to send yourself a special something, here is a list of amazing places that deliver straight to you.

THE LIST

1. Georgetown Cupcakes (Washington D.C.)

2. Levain Bakery (NYC, NY)

Levain’s Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies are in Cosmo as the best cookies in the state of NY. Personally I love the dark chocolate cookie. It tastes like a milk chocolate cookie, rich and extraordinary!

3. Magnolia Bakery (NY, NY)

4. Silos Bakery (Waco, TX)

If you’ve ever been to the Joanna’s bakery in Waco, you know that the desserts are divine. Fortunately, they deliver their sugar and chocolate chip cookies! I ordered these chocolate chip cookies last week. With 2-day shipping, we are able to enjoy fresh-based cookies at home.

The Tonkatsu Ramen at Ichiran is phenomenal. I wrote about it in my post about NYC food experiences. They deliver ramen kits where you can prepare their famous Tonkatsu Ramen at home.

7. Ladurée (Paris, France)

Laudaree delivers
The Ladurée in NYC, NY

Ladurée delivers macaroons, teas, and their jams to your door! You can order things on their website and they also deliver a wider selection on Goldbelly.com.

8. Linn’s (Cambria, CA)

Linn’s delivers their amazing pies that are frozen and ready-to-bake. I’ve been the Linn’s in Cambria and had the chicken pot pie and the olallieberry pie.

Technology is shaping the opportunities we have! As I was researching other famous places I’ve heard deliver, I found a website called Goldbelly.com, which delivers famous foods from all over the nation. Some of the restaurants featured on the site are listed here:

9. Gino’s East/ Lou Malnati’s (Chicago, IL)

I’ve tried Gino’s East’s Chicago deep dish pizza in Dallas, Texas. Pizza in Chicago is undoubtedly better, but my pizza in Dallas was outstanding.

10. Russ & Daughter’s (NYC, NY)

I didn’t get the chance to try the bagels at Russ & Daughter’s when I was in NYC in March.

11. Breads Bakery, NY

The Breads Bakery is famous in NY for their Chocolate Babka! I didn’t get to it in NYC, but it is definitely on my list, and with the bakery delivering, I won’t have to wait until my next NYC trip!

I visited Ichiran, Ladurée, and Levain Bakery when I visited NYC in March. If you’re looking for reviews about NYC Food Experiences worth having, check out my post on it here.
